In the Footsteps of Roger's Rangers, from Lake Champlain to Odanak—with Willem Lange, Vermont Public Radio Commentator, author, and storyteller. It is the 250th anniversary of the Seven Year War sometimes known as the French & Indian War. Retrace the footsteps of the colorful Robert Rogers. Travel by canoe, foot, and van as we follow the route of this controversial commander of the famous Rogers Rangers. Stops at Crown Point Historic Site, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, N.H.'s Fort #4 on the Connecticut River, and the Village of Odanak in Quebec. Meet with Abenaki descendants of the St Francis raid and learn about their historical and contemporary issues with this history.
