Is your camper already enrolled at Horizons for the upcoming summer?  Here are the details you’ll need to know about transportation, health forms, what to pack each day, as well as other important details.  If you have any questions, please contact Karen Danforth or call the office at 802-333-3450.

List of things to bring each day

Getting to and from camp:  Chaperoned transportation from and to Lebanon, Norwich, Thetford and Lyme will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  You may sign up for the bus service on  your camp application.  There will be an additional $100 charge per session, per child, for bus service ($50 for the one-week sessions).  Transportation fees are due with your camp tuition.  Bus stop locations and pickup/drop off times are below.  Please plan to arrive at bus stops early, as the bus is on a tight schedule and cannot wait.  Campers are expected to follow the bus rules.  Please note that we may alter the times and locations for the one-week sessions, depending on need. If your camper has already enrolled and you would like to add the bus service, please email Karen Danforth.

Final Friday: On the last Friday of each session, transportation will not be provided in the afternoon. Parents are invited to join us at 3:30 pm to meet counselors, tour the facility and share a brief program. Dismissal will be at 4:30 pm.

Overnight Option:  During our two-week sessions, 3rd through 7th grade campers ready to experience an overnight at camp are invited to join us for a cookout, campfire and singing during the second week of camp.  Breakfast will be served in the morning and campers will be ready for a full day of camp.  Eligible campers will receive a form early in the first week of camp about the overnight. Please discuss this opportunity with your camper and decide together if he or she is ready to spend the night. There is no extra charge for this option.  Please note: The 7th grade graduates leave camp for their overnight program.  If, for some reason, your child does not wish to attend this trip, there is no “in camp” program for them that day.  (1st session overnight date: Wednesday, July 5th.  2nd session overnight date: Tuesday, July 18th.  3rd session overnight date:  Tuesday, August 1st.)

Horizons Open House:  If you would like to visit Horizons before camp begins, please join us on Friday, June 23rd at 3:30 pm for a brief tour and a chance to meet Horizons Counselors.

Health Forms & Information:
We are once again partnering with CampDoc to provide electronic health records for our campers and staff.  All camper families (returning and new) will receive a notification email when your 2017 health record is ready.  New families will need to follow the instructions to create an account.  Returning camper families will be able to log into using the same log in information as last year.  Please contact the CampDoc Help Desk with any CampDoc related questions.  Help Desk hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST.  The Help Desk can be reached via telephone by dialing 734-636-1000 or via email at
