Tori Sumner
Operations Manager
Tori has served as the Operations Manager for the Aloha Foundation since early 2023. Her journey with Aloha Foundation began as an international counselor from Australia in Lanakila’s boating department. Over the course of eight summers at Lanakila, Tori held key roles such as Head of Boating and Head of Tripping, where her passion for trip leading truly blossomed. In addition to her role at Lanakila, Tori spent many years working as an instructor, lead instructor, and an Associate Program Coordinator at the Hulbert Outdoor Center. These positions allowed her to share her passion for outdoor education while refining her skills in program management and team leadership.
Tori holds a Bachelor of Science and, before joining the Aloha Foundation full-time, spent much of her early career working in a diverse role within the plumbing supply industry. This experience has equipped her with strong organizational and logistical skills, allowing her to manage complex operations efficiently. Her background in both hands-on outdoor leadership and operational logistics gives her a unique ability to handle the coordination and planning required to support our programs.
In her free time, Tori enjoys outdoor adventures, including playing golf, canoeing, and snowboarding. Her love for adventure and leadership continues to drive her professional and personal pursuits.
