Although we can’t be together in Fairlee this summer, we all have opportunities to bring our best selves to our families, neighborhoods, and the world. Each week we will share a new theme with videos, blog posts, and activity suggestions to give you ideas and inspiration to create your own summer experience. Week 5: Work it Out! Fitness of the mind, body & spirit

Has social distancing been taking a toll on your mind and body? This week is for you! Get moving! Create calm. Uplift your spirit! Look below for lots of ideas on how to care for your whole self, get active, and have some fun.

Want to put yourself through the Aloha-sanctioned, at-home workout?  Give it a try — we bet you’ll be glad you did!
Have a dance party! Put on your favorite tunes and groove. Bring it online and invite your friends!
Find your calm by trying this meditation from Helen Doherty, Aloha & Hulbert alum
Make moving art to inspire and calm you. Learn how to make mobile & wind chimes with Izzy.
Create your own trick shot or crazy sports challenge. Make a video and challenge your friends to come up with their own.
Stay Hydrated! Drink a glass of water when you first get up. Remember to drink water throughout the day to stay healthy
Challenge yourself with a homemade obstacle like Nora, Marley & Alex (check out their judges)! Fun inside or outside!

Find a fitness buddy. Set a goal and check in regularly (even virtually) to keep each other accountable and celebrate your accomplishments!
