Aloha & Hive Reunion 2026 Building Projects

Building for Generations to Come

Great camp experiences are built by dedicated leaders with the space and support to do their best work.

This summer, Aloha & Hive are investing in a new Director’s House at Aloha Camp and a new Senior Staff House at Hive, so the people who make camp transformative can show up fully, summer after summer.

Use the giving form below to make your gift and help build what comes next.

Aloha: A New Director’s House

Building Leadership for Generations
The Ohana has long been Aloha Camp’s beloved director’s cabin. This historic one-bedroom home sits directly on the shores of Lake Morey and carries deep meaning for generations of campers and staff. However, environmental regulations and permitting restrictions prevent the Ohana from being expanded to meet the needs of a modern director’s family. Next Summer, we will refurbish the centrally located Horse Barn to become Aloha’s new Director’s House.

The renovated building will be designed around the unique demands of camp leadership, offering space for group meetings, private conversations, and the behind-the-scenes work that sustains a healthy camp community. By investing in a functional and accessible Director’s House, Aloha is investing in leadership stability and, in turn, in every camper, staff member, and family who embraces the Aloha experience.

Hive: A New Senior Staff House

Staff are the heart of Hive
This staff house is a direct investment in senior staff members who bring tremendous wisdom, experience and often families with them to camp. They join the Hive community each year to support the counselor staff in key roles like Assistant Director, Program Director, Office Manager and even Camp Mom! A new structure providing comfortable, functional space for senior staff and their families, will help these counselors rest, mentor the counselor community, and share the camp experience with their loved ones.

By increasing housing capacity and quality, we’ll also strengthen Hive’s ability to recruit and retain outstanding staff. The result will be felt in a consistent experience from summer to summer, stronger mentoring and supervision, and a staff community that can show up fully—creating the safe, joyful, fully alive camp experience our campers deserve.
