Kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade can pack their winter and spring breaks full of games, exploring, crafts, fresh air, new friends, good food, and more! Hulbert offers vacation camps during February and April school vacations. Come for part of the week or the whole session! Enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities led by our experienced and caring staff.
- Hot lunches and snacks are provided daily.
- Sibling discounts of $10/day are available for each additional child enrolled from the same family.
- Limited intern positions are available for teens 14-18. Contact Ross Cannon for more details.
- NEW in 2024! A second February session will be offered Tuesday to Thursday, February 27 – 29.
- Financial aid is available. (Apply for aid within the camp application.)

Lunch & Snacks
Lunch is served each day at noon in our dining room. We aim to serve kid friendly well balanced meals with options for many dietary and taste needs. We are a nut free facility and we do our best to accommodate special dietary requirements with advance notice. Snacks are provided each day at 10:30 am and 2:45 pm.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Campers may be dropped off at Hulbert between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Supervised recreation and breakfast are available from 7:30 – 8:30 am with our Early Drop Off option (additional fees may apply).
Campers should be picked up at 4:30 pm at Hulbert. Supervised recreation is available from 4:30 to 5:30 pm with our Late Pick Up option (additional fees may apply; not available on Fridays). Anyone picking up your camper is required to bring a Photo ID matching the approved pick up list.
For February Session 1 and April Session only – Bus service is available from Campion Rink in West Lebanon, NH for $16/day. The bus is monitored by a Hulbert staff member. Campers may be dropped off at the bus stop starting at 8 am and the bus will depart from Campion Rink at 8:30 am. Campers will return to Campion Rink at 5 pm.
Hulbert Staff
Led by Program Director Ross Cannon, Hulbert staff can be described in one word: outstanding! They are energetic, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable – and seamlessly adapt their approach to best suit the age and background of the program participants. Each staff member brings their own educational and professional expertise to their role at Hulbert, contributing to a varied and dynamic program.
Health & Safety
All of our practices have been developed to meet or exceed guidelines put forth by the American Camp Association (ACA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and Vermont’s Department of Health.
The safety of our campers, counselors, participants, and staff is our top priority. The Aloha Foundation requires all Vacation Camp participants, staff, and volunteers to follow our vaccination policy. You will be asked to upload records to your child’s account.
Registration & Getting Ready
Registration Guidelines
- Registration opens on December 1!
- Our new February Session 2 is offered Tuesday – Thursday only. We must meet a minimum of 20 campers per day by February 9 in order to offer this session, so spread the word and apply today!
- Campers are enrolled on a rolling basis, as space allows. We encourage you to apply early!
- Requests for campership aid may be made within your camp application.
- Hulbert welcomes campers in Kindergarten – 6th grade.

Health Information
- Health forms will be available in your account after your camper is enrolled.
- Campers are required to be covered by a comprehensive health insurance plan.
- Aloha Foundation Vaccination Policy
Payments and Cancellation Policy
- Tuition statements will be available in your online account once a camper is enrolled.
- Payments may be made via e-check, credit card or paper check mailed to the Aloha Foundation at 2968 Lake Morey Rd, Fairlee, VT 05045.
- The camp tuition is due within 15 days of enrollment.
- Families are responsible for full tuition and fees if withdrawal is made within 30 days of the camp. No reduction or refund of tuition is made for late arrival, early departure, missed days, withdrawal for emotional or medical reasons, or any other cause.

Bus Transportation & Dropoff/Pickup Procedures
By Car:
- Camper drop-off is between 8:30-9:00 am.
- Camp ends at 4:30 pm.
By Bus (only available during February Session 1 and April Session: You may sign up for our chaperoned school bus service on your camp application. The cost, due with your camp tuition, is $16 per day per camper. **This fee is waived for campers receiving financial aid. Campers are expected to follow bus rules set by the driver and/or Hulbert chaperone. If the bus is running late, you will be notified by email and/or phone.
- Campion Rink: bus leaves at 8:30 am, returns approximately 5:00 pm
Authorized pick-up person(s): All adults (including parents) should be prepared to show ID and sign out their child, whether pickup occurs at Hulbert or at the bus stop. If someone other than a parent or guardian will pick up your camper, we must have a note to that effect (you can authorize other adults on your camp application). If your camper has permission to ride a bike or walk home alone please let us know. The camp is not liable for campers after they leave camp property or the bus stop.
Things to Bring
Campers should dress for the weather as they will spend lots of time outdoors. Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. Hard-soled shoes (sneakers), and a warm layer are essential. In addition, please be sure your camper packs the following each day:
In backpack or tote bag:
- water bottle
- lip balm (optional)
- journal, pen, book (optional)
And if weather requires…
- raincoat, rain boots, rain hat
- winter coat, snowpants, gloves/mittens, hat, winter boots
- extra clothes, especially socks
Please leave the following items at home:
- electronic games, iPods, cell phones
- food and gum
- money
