Equity & Inclusion
Overview
Equity and inclusion are central to our organizational vision and mission. We strive to ensure that all members of our community feel valued for who they are and what they bring. We believe that inspiring people to be their best selves means fostering relationship-building across differences and celebrating the diverse identities and perspectives that enrich our collective learning experiences. We aim to create a sense of belonging for everyone during their time at the Alohas.
We know that developing awareness, skills, and competencies to support equity and inclusion within our organization and beyond is an ongoing process. Offering learning and growth opportunities for educators and professionals allows us to share our knowledge and expertise, while also collaborating with others to broaden the impact of this important work. We offer a variety of professional development workshops and training sessions to meet the needs of individuals and organizations.
For more information on our professional development opportunities or to customize your own program, email Arlynn Polletta, Associate Director of Equity, Inclusion & Outreach.
