Karen Burgess
Director of Development
Karen joined the Aloha Foundation as Director of Development in June 2025. She brings more than 18 years of fundraising experience, including leadership roles at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and St. Paul’s School, where she specialized in donor engagement, annual giving, and strategic development initiatives.
Karen’s ties to Aloha run deep—her mother was a longtime Aloha camper, her father was a Lanakila counselor, and her son attended both Horizons and Lanakila. She was even married at Hulbert in 2024. Karen lives in Norwich, VT with her husband and dog, and is currently building a home in Lyme, NH. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors in every season.
