The camps of The Aloha Foundation are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They are classic examples of the camp architecture of the early 20th century, and there’s always a lot to be done to keep them in good shape. Our campuses reflect the dedicated care of Buildings & Grounds Director Win Ameden and his crew, many of whom have worked for the Foundation for more than two decades. We care about our buildings, how simply and well they are built, how well they serve their purposes, and how they complement the natural environment. We plan carefully for the future of the camps, with a projected list of capital improvements that looks forward at least five years.
