Hulbert Outdoor Center is available from September through early June for weddings, meetings, conferences, workshops and special events. Accommodations include six comfortable heated cabins with three or four bunkrooms each with bathrooms. Hulbert can house up to 100 overnight guests. Our renovated farmhouse contains a dining hall for up to 150 people served by a commercial kitchen, as well as a variety of small and medium-size meeting spaces. Seasonally, a historic barn with a large fieldstone fireplace, finished hardwood floor, proscenium stage and full height loft can accommodate gatherings of up to 200 people. Hulbert’s staff of experiential educators can provide tailor-made programs for guest groups, utilizing a wide range of outdoor facilities including high and low ropes challenge courses and a Climb Tower, and winter environments for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and lake ice skating. Recreational resources include an extensive waterfront for swimming and boating; canoes, kayaks and paddle boards; tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; archery and a none hole frisbee golf course: and miles of hiking trails.
Ohana Camp on Lake Fairlee is available from mid-May through June, and late August through October for retreats, reunions, weddings, and social events. Its 20 rustic cabins have cozy living rooms with fieldstone fireplaces, one to four bedrooms, modern baths and kitchenettes. Ohana also offers 6 tent-cabins for a more rustic stay. In total there are 110 beds available.
The gracious Adirondack-style dining lodge overlooking the lake and valley below seats 175. Our chef and kitchen staff will be available to design menus and provide delicious, local, and seasonal meals. There are a number of meeting spaces in addition to the large dining hall including a spacious Red Barn which seats 100, an intimate library, porches galore and a number of other nooks around the nearly 120 acres of Ohana campus for small group gathering.
Recreational resources include an extensive waterfront for swimming and boating; a large fleet of canoes and kayaks; tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; hiking and walking trails and miles of back roads.
Camp Aloha Hive on Lake Fairlee may be rented for single-day events in the late summer and early fall. A beautiful dining room with a wide wrap-around porch overlooks the lake, with table seating for up to 150 people. A commercial kitchen is available for meal preparation by our own food service staff or approved caterers. A spacious assembly hall with a fieldstone fireplace and a stage can host large group meetings as well receptions and dances.
