NYC Chartered Bus
The Aloha Foundation provides a chaperoned chartered bus service through Premier Coach bus company from New York City on Friday, June 27 and to New York City on Wednesday, August 13. This service is not available for 1st session departures or 2nd session arrivals. (Clubbers and Bridgers may sign up for the bus on August 13.)
Sign Up: Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis and we encourage early sign-up. Sign up through your camper’s online paperwork (see Arrival Plans step and Departure Plans step). If space is available, we’ll add your camper to the list, add the bus fee of $165 per trip to your camper’s account, and email you confirmation. Payment must be received within 15 days of confirmation to secure your camper’s spot on the bus. *The bus fee is waived for campers receiving financial aid.
Bus Stop Location: The bus stop is on the north side of W 62nd between Columbus and Amsterdam (Next to the Lincoln Center).
June 27 – Bus to Camp: Campers should pack a nut-free lunch, snacks, and drinks (no glass, please). Campers may bring electronics for use on the bus. Devices (and accessories) should be labeled and will be collected by camp staff upon arrival at camp. Devices are stored in the camp offices, charged (if charging cords are sent), and handed back to campers upon departure from camp.
- Luggage: The bus has limited space for luggage, and we ask that campers ship luggage to and from camp, bringing only carry-on luggage or small duffels on the bus. *The only exception is for international campers and campers receiving financial aid.
- Timing: We ask that everyone arrive by 8:30 am. The bus will begin loading at 8:30 am, and departure is planned for 9:00 am. Please plan accordingly and leave yourself plenty of time, as the bus cannot wait for late arrivals.
August 13 – Bus from Camp: The camps provide packed lunches, snacks, and drinks for the bus ride to NYC. Campers may bring electronics for use on the bus. If you choose to send your camper to camp with a device, please also send charging accessories. Everything should be labeled and will be collected by camp staff upon arrival at camp. Devices are stored in the camp offices, charged, and handed back to campers upon departure from camp.
