Lorraine Feinour

Hulbert Program Coordinator

Lorraine “Lo” Feinour, our dedicated Program Coordinator at the Aloha Foundation’s Outdoor Education Facility, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role, having started her journey in the world of outdoor education back in college. Lo’s career began as a camp counselor, where she quickly became known for her versatility and willingness to take on any role needed. Her commitment to creating impactful experiences for campers led her to become a leader in the Girl Scout Camp world, working in diverse locations all over the states.

Fueling her enthusiasm for the outdoors and experiential learning, Lo redirected her academic path, changing her major to education. Her passion for discovering innovative ways for both children and adults to grow and learn outside traditional classroom settings became her driving force. Outdoor education emerged as the perfect platform for Lo to provide diverse learning opportunities beyond textbooks and classrooms. Prior to joining the team at Hulbert, she traversed the country, contributing to various communities, whether it was running a maple syrup farm to empower young women in male-dominated fields or hiking across mountaintops.

Lo’s journey in the outdoor education industry has been marked by an unwavering commitment to fostering growth and learning. She cherishes the uniqueness of each day in this dynamic field, embracing the countless opportunities for personal and professional development both in Vermont and here at the Aloha Foundation. Her dedication to creating transformative experiences echoes in the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to be part of her programs.
